Police Log: Thief Lifts $5,000 Trains From Garage

Monday

12:49 a.m. Police received a report from a resident that a suspicious male was looking into a kitchen window of a home on the 300 block of Cypress Avenue.

4:56 a.m. A window was smashed on a red Camaro near Berkshire Drive and Fleetwood Drive.

7:42 a.m. Police received a report that seven windows were broken over the weekend on the 2500 block of Cottonwood Drive.

9:51 a.m. Someone allegedly robbed a resident of a drill and 10 trains worth $5,000 each from an open garage on the 100 block of Linden Avenue.

11:44 a.m. Graffiti was spotted on a portable at John Muir Elementary School.

3:01 p.m. Gang graffiti was spotted on the 900 block of Cherry Avenue. 

8:29 p.m. Police received a report of trespassing at an abandoned building on the 400 block of San Mateo Avenue.

Tuesday

10:22 a.m. A silver Volkswagen Beetle was stolen on the 1700 block of El Camino Real.

9:54 p.m. A fire was reported on the 1200 block of Kains Avenue.

Wednesday

6:20 a.m. A green 1992 Honda Accord was stolen on the 1200 block of San Mateo Avenue.
