Police Log: Thief Steals $5,000 Worth of Frames

Monday, Oct. 29
12:01 p.m. Police received a report that someone had been caught on camera stealing $5,000 worth of frames from a store at The Shops at Tanforan.
2:59 p.m. Police received a report that a dark blue 2002 Volkwagen Jetta was stolen when it was parked in a lot on the 1500 block of Crystal Springs Road.

Tuesday, Oct. 30
10:18 a.m. Police received a report that a silver 1995 Acura was stolen overnight on the 200 block of Sylvan Avenue.

4:47 p.m. A security guard at Skyline College was punched in the face by someone in a parking lot on the campus.
7:24 p.m. A house was on fire on the 200 block of Lomita Avenue.
Wednesday, Oct. 31
Sometime before 3:50 p.m., a hit-and-run accident occurred near El Camino Real and Interstate Highway 380 involving a city vehicle and a red Honda Accord. Injuries were reported.
