Police Log: Vandals Target Home, Vehicle Windows

Thursday

9:10 a.m. A robbery was reported on the 100 block of San Benito Avenue.

Sometime before 3:10 p.m., a drunk driver was spotted near El Camino Real and Jevenein Avenue.

3:35 p.m. A resident reported that a brown 1967 Buick Skylark was vandalized the night before in which a windshield and side windows were smashed and tires were slashed.

8:36 a.m. A stereo was stolen from a white Chevy Express 2500 near Crestmoor Drive and Crystal Springs Road.

11:10 a.m. Wells Fargo had to be evacuated after someone reported smelling gass in the vault.

4:04 p.m. A resident's front windows were broken by what appeared to be BB pellets on the 400 block of Maple Avenue.

6:03 p.m. Someone attempted to steal a red Mazda RX7 on the 2800 block of Sneath Lane. The person shoved a key into the ignition and broke off the key, police said.

6:30 p.m. A drunk driver was spotted near Kains Avenue and Mills Avenue.

9:56 p.m. A blue Honda CRV was keyed while parked in the garage at The Shops at Tanforan.

Saturday

2:37 a.m. Police received a report that a resident's home was shot at with a BB gun on the 400 block of Maple Avenue.

9:12 p.m. Residents were illegally shooting off bottle rockets near San Antonio Avenue and Santa Clara Avenue.

Sunday

6:01 a.m. Police received a report that someone was allegedly smashing windows near Crestmoor Drive and Darby Place.

6:14 a.m. Police received a report that a window was smashed on the 700 block of Magnolia Avenue.

7:53 a.m. Three windows were broken on a truck on the 1400 block of Claremont Drive.

9:44 a.m. The Snack Shack on the 400 block of Third Avenue was found broken into, ransacked and vandalised with graffiti.
