Police Log: Woman Asks For Help After Handcuffing Ankles Together

The following information was supplied by the San Bruno Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday

10:50 a.m. A foster mother of a boy on the 200 block of El Camino Real called police to have the boy's biological mother removed from the property.

2:34 p.m. Police received a call from someone who reportedly had been receiving sexual photos through Facebook and email.

4:02 p.m. Someone called police claiming that some suspicious person was using his or her credit card account in a number of cities to make purchases totaling more than $400.

Friday

8:06 a.m.  A man arrived at police station claiming that a credit company had made threatening phone calls to him.

9:55 a.m. Someone who was returning a car on the 500 block of El Camino Real reported to police that an employee mentioned “in a casual conversation” that he owns a firearm.

5:63 p.m. A woman on the 800 block of Commodore Drive handcuffed her ankles together and called police for assistance because the handcuff key not working.

Saturday

1:24 p.m. An elderly person arrived at the police station asking for advice on how to get a restraining order because the person's son was trying to get some financial documents signed.

6:17 p.m. A woman was upset that her neighbor replaced their shared fence without her permission on the 2700 block of Carmel Drive and called police because she said the new fence was "ugly" and that the neighbor had damaged her sprinkler line.

7:52 p.m. Police received a call from mall security about an employee at who said a customer stole her purse. The employee called back later and said her credit card was just used at .

Sunday

2:06 p.m. A man arrived at the police station wanting to talk to an officer about his roommate who had apparently threatened him by saying, “I’m gonna rip your head off.”

2:08 p.m. Someone reportedly pulled a gun on a driver near the corner of El Camino Real and Interstate 380. The driver called police after following the suspect to Sunnyvale.
