Police Searching for Suspects in San Benito Ave. Armed Robbery

The three suspects were last seen running north on El Camino Real after the early Monday morning robbery.

Police are seeking the public's help in searching for three suspects involved in an armed robbery on Monday.

Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery on the 200 block of San Benito Avenue at about 12:15 a.m. Monday after a man said he parked his vehicle near South San Anselmo Avenue and San Benito Avenue and was approached by three men as he was walking away.

One of the robbers, armed with a handgun, demanded that the man give them his money, threatening to shoot him if he ran away, police said.

A second robber searched the man and took his wallet, police said, then all three hit and kicked the man before fleeing the area.

They were last seen running north on El Camino Real.

The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The suspects were described as white men in their 20s who were wearing black pants and black hoodies.
