San Bruno Cops Nab Burglary Suspect

A man and woman were arrested at a local motel.

San Bruno police arrested a San Francisco man a San Bruno woman after the man was seen allegedly going through a purse in the backyard of a home on Linden Avenue Monday morning.  The arrest took place at a motel on El Camino Real.

San Bruno police received the call from a resident who reported seeing the man in their neighbor’s backyard said Lt. Geoff Caldwell in a release.

According to Caldwell, while police were searching for the man on Linden Avenue, they received another call about the man from an employee of a business on El Camino Real.

The man was followed from that business to the motel where the man, 26-year-old Donald Ray of San Francisco was contacted and arrested after police found suspected stolen items in the motel room.

Also arrested at the scene was 23-year-old San Bruno resident Frederica Lolamay Green.  The two were taken into custody for a variety of alleged criminal violations including burglary and possession of stolen property.

Police are urging residents to immediately report suspicious persons or vehicles in their neighborhoods. 

They are also asking that anyone who has any additional information about Ray’s alleged crimes to call the San Bruno Police Department at (650) 616-7100.
