A house burglar in San Bruno was at large Wednesday and police asked the public for help in finding him.
A burglar last Friday tried kicking in a side door at a home in the 2600 block of Plymouth Way but ran off when he realized the residents had spotted him, police said.
On Tuesday, two homes -- in the 2400 block of Whitman Way and the 2200 block of Trenton Drive -- had their back doors forced open and contents taken, San Bruno police Lt. Geoff Caldwell said.
In the belief that the same man may be committing the crimes -- the method of operation seems to be the same -- SBPD has released an artist's rendering of the suspect.
He is described as an unshaven, scruffy-faced Latino in his 30s, standing 5 feet 10, weighing about 210 pounds, with short curly hair.
Anyone with information was asked to contact investigators at 650-616-7100.
