San Bruno Man to Stand Trial for Fatal Hit-and-Run

Mitnesh Reddy allegedly struck and killed a 61-year-old San Bruno woman in an early morning crash.

A 21-year-old San Bruno man who allegedly struck and killed a 61-year-old woman in November as she was exiting the freeway will stand trial, a San Mateo County Superior Court judge said last week.

The preliminary hearing for Mitnesh Reddy ended on Friday, and Judge Lisa Novak said there was enough evidence for a trial.

Reddy, 21, of San Bruno is accused of vehicular manslaughter, driving under the influence of alcohol and a felony hit-and-run after he reportedly crashed into Sondra Gentile's Honda Civic as she was exiting Interstate Highway 380.
