San Bruno Police Log, April 18-20: Threatening Texts and Woman Claiming Server Stole Money from Bill

A sampling of incidents reported to the San Bruno Police Department from April 18-21.

April 18

8:09 a.m. Police received a call about a homeless man sleeping on the first floor lobby by the entrance of a building on the 1000 block of Sneath Lane.

9:57 a.m. Police received a call from a concerned resident who saw a knife on the ground of a driveway on the 2900 block of San Bruno Avenue West.

3:16 p.m. A resident arrived at the police station claiming to have received numerous threatening texts going back as far as 10 months from a former classmate.

4:25 p.m. Police received a call about two young males carrying long black rifles with red tips near the corner of College Drive and Sarp Park Road. It is unknown whether or not they were real or toy guns, police said.

April 19

8:02 p.m. Police received a call involving a dispute at a restaurant on the 1100 block of El Camino Real in which a woman said she paid the full amount for her meal while the server claimed she didn't. The caller believed the server took some of the money.

April 20

3:04 a.m. Police received a call from someone claiming to hear heavy footsteps on the roof on the 400 block of Hawthorne Avenue.

2:18 p.m. Someone arrived at the police station claiming to have received a notice from someone at the Monterey County Mental Health Department who made homicidal threats to the person.
