San Bruno Police Log, April 7-10: Stolen Mail, Possible Gas Leak, and Death Threats

A sampling of incidents reported to the San Bruno Police Department from April 7-10.

April 7

3:21pm. Police received a call from someone requesting documentation that a relative is taking mail from a house on the 1000 block of Montgomery.

4:23pm. Police received a call reporting a possible hazard involving a cable wire hanging in the middle of Second Avenue and San Bruno Avenue East.

6:13pm. Police received a call reporting two consecutives acts of vandalism on a vehicle.

April 8

8:15am. A caller reported receiving abusive calls and texts from an unknown male  caller for more than a week.

1:38pm. Police received a report of a theft of a $600 phone and a broken display case two nights ago on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.

1:58pm. Police received a call about a vehicle blocking a handicapped stall on the 300 block of Amador Avenue, which the motorist refused to vacate.

April 9

9:43am. A caller reported seeing a large truck knock down power lines on the 400 block of Third Avenue.

2:24pm. A caller reported that an 18-year-old man was striking and terrorizing his family members and threatening them with a knife on the 700 block of Sixth Avenue.

7:10pm. A caller reported that his ex-wife failed to drop off their children at an agreed-upon time on the 100 block of Poplar Avenue.


7:56pm. Police received a report of  a strong natural gas odor on the walkway between 500 Easton Avenue and San Mateo Avenue.

April 10

3:59pm. Police received a call about a man wearing all black clothing who was trying to step in front of the Northbound train on the 400 block of Huntington Avenue.

4:06pm. Police received a call reporting a man lying on the ground at Huntington Avenue East and South Maple avenues who appeared to have been assaulted.

6:31pm. Police received a call about someone calling out repeated death threats on the 200 block of Santa Lucia Avenue.
