San Bruno Police Log, Feb. 28-March 2: Verbal Threats, Jewelry Theft, and Customer Caught Buying Booze for Minors

A sampling of incidents reported to the San Bruno Police Department from Feb. 28-March 2.

Feb. 28

7:51am. Police received a report of an unknown subject who took the caller's purse, removed a wallet and put the purse inside another purse that was for sale on the 1200 block of El Camino Real.

10:00am. Police received a call about a single .38-caliber bullet found in .

10:51am. Police received a call about continuing verbal threats from a man on his way to the home on the 2400 block of Maywood Drive.

5:32am. Police received a call alleging carpenters working on a home stole jewelry from it on the 4300 block of Shelter Creek Lane.

March 1

1:04pm. A caller reported that an unknown person used his name, Social Security number and address to open an account with a Connecticut utility company in Connecticut on the 2100 block of Rollingwood Drive.

2:44pm. Police received a call about money being taken from a safe belonging to the Joppa clothing store in Tanforan. The money was last seen Feb. 26 and manager noticed it missing Feb. 28.

7:53pm. Police, firefighters and medics responded to a call reporting a death on the 2500 block of Eucalyptus Way.

8:40pm. Police received a call from the father of a 15-year-old boy who met up with a 33-year-old man at Tanforan. The caller believed the man took his son to an unknown hotel.

March 2

11:18am. Police received a call about verbal threats being made from the caller’s former employee through emails and phone calls on the 1100 block of Bayhill Drive.

5:38pm. Police received a call reporting an adult yelling loudly at an infant inside a parked vehicle on the 800 block of El Camino Real.

11:54pm. Police received a call about a customer attempting to buy alcohol for underage friends on the 1300 block of El Camino Real.
