San Bruno Police Log, March 10-13: Security Guard Finding Duffel Bag Filled With Shotgun Shells, Landlord Harassed, and M-80 Thrown Underneath Vehicle

A sampling of incidents reported to the San Bruno Police Department from March 10-13.

Mar. 10

7:45am. Police received a call from a man who was being threatening and pelted with dirt by his co-workers near Atlantic  and San Mateo avenues.

11:39am. Police received a call from a security officer who, while patrolling, found a duffel bag filled with shotgun shells in one of the abandoned apartments on the 3900 block of Susan Drive.

5:22pm.  Someone reported to police a respiratory outbreak in a building on the 800 block of El Camino Real that the caller said was airborne.

8:36am. Police received a call about a truck accidentally dumping 20 feet of gravel on the No. 3 southbound lane at El Camino Real near Jenevein Avenue.

10:29am. Police received a call about the driver-side door of a teal Honda Civic being kicked in at some point overnight.

10:46am. Someone arrived at the police station claiming that a female had used the person's name and Social Security number to purchase two homes and a vehicle.

Mar. 12

1:35pm. Police received a call from a concerned citizen who noticed a 2-year-old girl playing on a swing for 20 minutes with no one around at .

8:53pm. Police received a call from a landlord claiming someone egged his residents, toilet-papered his house and wrote profanity on his vehicle on the 2400 block of Trenton Drive.

Mar. 13

1:46pm. Police received a call from someone who said a large swarm of bees were at the intersection of Crystal Springs Road and El Camino Real.

4:26pm. Police received a call about some suspicious behavior involving several people throwing an M-80 underneath a vehicle on the 500 block of Elm Avenue. A neighbor also heard a loud, "Boom," police said.
