Police Log: Kids Urinate on Home, Burglary on Hensley

Read a sampling of incidents reported to the San Bruno Police Department from May 19-22.

May 19

4:30 p.m. Police received a call about a group of youths urinating on the side of someone’s home on the 600 block of Seventh Avenue. 

4:54 p.m. A man arrived at the police station claiming to have received a check for $2,500 for an item he was selling online for $495. The buyer wanted money wired to Jupiter, FL.

May 20

12:40 a.m. Police received a call about a possible stalker who was standing across the street from the caller’s house on the 700 block of Fourth Avenue. The person eventually went away when the caller spotted him, police said.

7:17 a.m. A police presence was requested at as a result of the amount of damage done to the school during a “senior prank” the day before.

7:37 p.m. Police received a call about an ongoing problem involving nearly 20 youths smoking marijuana in .

May 21

1:41 p.m. Police responded to a report about the railroad arms at the corner of Angus Avenue West and San Mateo Avenue being broken and laying on the ground. It is unknown how it occurred.

11 p.m. Police received a call about a group of males who broke a window with a bat on the 100 block of Martin Place.

May 22

12:45 a.m. Police received a call from someone on the 1300 block of Huntington Avenue requesting help with evicting tenants from an apartment deemed overcrowded.

8:56 a.m. Police received a call about a residential burglary on the 500 block of Hensley Avenue. The garage was broken into overnight and various electronic items were stolen, including a camera, cables and a keyboard.

3:47 p.m. Police received a call about a missing juvenile from the 700 block of Green Avenue. The caller said her son ran away the day before after a verbal argument.
