San Bruno Police Log, May 5-8: Possible Gas Leak, Fisticuffs at Party, and Suspected DUI

A sampling of incidents reported to the San Bruno Police Department from May 5-8.

May 5

12:55 p.m. Police received a call about an eight-wheeler truck causing property damage when it drove into a gas pump on the 300 block of San Bruno Avenue East.

7 p.m. Police received a call reporting six boys pounding on a mailbox at the corner of Linden Avenue and Santa Lucia Avenue.

8 p.m. Police received a call from someone claiming to have seen a 40-year-old man suffering a seizure at the corner of Jenevein Avenue and Poplar Avenue.

May 6

2:04 a.m. Police received a call about a group of adults walking along the 400 block of Mastick Avenue toward the store punching cars.

7:38 a.m. Police received a report of a drunk driver who hit a tree and continued on the 300 block of El Camino Real with the tree attached to the front of the car.

 6:11 p.m Police received a call about a man tossing traffic cones at the corner of Huntington Avenue and San Bruno Avenue East.

May 7

10:17 a.m. A resident arrived at the police station claiming someone used the resident's debit account number to purchase $156 worth of items in Newark.

8:46 p.m. Police received a call about a party on the 900 block of Hensley Avenue that dissolved into a fight and which one person in attendance announced he had a gun.

May 8

1:11 a.m. Police received a call by a car owner who was struck by his vehicle after someone tried to steal it on the 1200 block of El Camino Real.

3:57 p.m. Police received a call about a man who was asked to leave an establishment on the 600 block of Hungtington Avenue and began fighting a passersby.

4:23 p.m. County officials asked the to help investigate natural gas odors detected in the lobby of a building on the 1200 block of El Camino Real.
