SF Man Pleads Not Guilty to Pimping Girl

The man was arrested at a San Bruno motel, where he was allegedly pimping a 17-year-old girl.

A San Francisco man who was for allegedly pimping a 17-year-old girl pleaded not guilty in court on Wednesday, the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office said.

David Blackwell, 49, faces human trafficking charges, kidnapping with the purpose of sexual assault, pandering, pimping and assault with a deadly weapon.

Blackwell reportedly was pimping the girl on the adult escort website MyRedbook.com, according to the district attorney's office.

He allegedly kept the teenager in his San Francisco condominium and required she be available at all times to service potential clients, prosecutors said.

In early April, Blackwell allegedly held a gun to the girl when she had friends over in violation of his house rules, prosecutors said.

He is being held on $1 million bail and faces life in prison if convicted.
