Toddler Falls Out of San Mateo Window

The toddler, who was conscious and crying directly after the incident, was taken to a nearby trauma center.

Bay City News --

Condition reports on a 3-year-old boy who fell out a second-story window in San Mateo this week were not available Wednesday.

Police Sgt. Dave Norris called the fall an accident.

"There is no indication of any criminal activity or foul play involved in this incident," he said.

The child was taken to a trauma center following the fall shortly after 5 p.m. Monday on South Grant Street but no information was released on the child's condition.

However, he was conscious and crying when taken from his home.
