A woman who tried to use fraudulent identification and credit cards to rent a convertible Mercedes at an airport rental car company was taken into custody on two San Francisco arrest warrants, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
Around 5:45 a.m. Saturday, police with San Francisco's SFO airport bureau were contacted by a rental car facility that claimed a suspicious woman was trying to rent a car using fake ID.
When officers arrived, they located Elizabeth Aldrich, 38, of San Francisco, inside the rental facility, according to the sheriff's office.
Aldrich was immediately placed under arrest for allegedly attempting to rent a car with credit cards not in her name.
Officers determined that Aldrich was brought to SFO from San Francisco in a limousine.
Upon further investigation, it was learned that Aldrich had two San Francisco County arrest warrants on felony charges related to narcotics and fraudulent identification.
According to the sheriff's office, it was determined that Aldrich was the suspect in similar cases out of SFO and Alameda County. Aldrich was taken to the San Mateo County Jail. Bail was set at $200,000.
