Blenders Recalled for Laceration Hazard

There have been multiple reports of the blender's blade shaft assembly breaking during use.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of Frigidaire Professional blenders following 8 reports of the blender’s blade shaft assembly breaking during use.

No injuries have been reported, but the defect poses a risk of lacerations, prompting the recall.

The recalled blender has this model number: FPJB56B7MS

The serial numbers fall between FFP 49 1203 0001 and FFP 49 1237 00974. The model and serial numbers are located on a serial plate on the underside of the blender’s motor base, as pictured above.

The blenders were manufactured in China and sold nationwide at Target, Best Buy and other retailers.
