City Council Calls Special Meeting for Thursday
The agenda for the Sept. 16 San Bruno City Council meeting, called in response to the Crestmoor disaster.
The City Council will be meeting at 5pm Thursday at City Hall in the Sister City Conference Room (Room 115) to take action in response to the Sept. 9 gas explosion and fire that devastated the Crestmoor neighborhood.
The agenda includes:
- adopting a resolution authorizing the city manager to declare a local emergency
- authorizing the city manager to immediately use public money needed to respond to the emergency
- authorizing the city manager to request financial assistance from the federal and state government
