City to Plant New Tree in Crestmoor Neighborhood

The city is looking to breath some new life into the Crestmoor neighborhood with a tree planting next week.

A tree was removed on Sneath Lane and Crestmoor Drive to accommodate water system upgrades that were part of the rebuilding process in the neighborhood. A new cedar tree will be planted there to replace the old one.

An older, diseased pine tree will also be removed from the location before the new tree planting, the city said.
