Committee to Review Cleo's Expansion, New Home in Crestmoor Neighborhood

The Architectural Review Committee will be meeting today at City Hall. Here is the agenda.

Two exciting developments are going before the city's .

is looking to expand its restaurant into the adjacent vacant storefront at 442 San Mateo Avenue. The committee will be looking at a permit the restaurant owner has submitted to change the facade of the storefront.

If approved, the Planning Commission will then take a look at Cleo's request for expansion and give it a yay or nay.

Another request on the agenda comes from the homeowners of 1631 Claremont Drive to build a new house in the Crestmoor neighborhood. The home was one of the 38 homes that was destroyed in the 2010 PG&E pipeline explosion.

Of the 38 homes destroyed in the fire, 15 have been issued building permits and another eight are in various stages of review, according to the city.
