Frugal families can enjoy a free movie in the park this week, as well as a free night celebrating fashion, workshops to reduce everyday anxiety, an award to recognize those who help keep San Bruno beautiful and a discounted robotics class for kids.

Deal: Free admission for family , featuring “Despicable Me” this week.

Good through: Every Friday in September. Showings begin at dusk.

Good through: All nomination forms must be received by 5 p.m. Friday.
