Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee

The meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at City Hall in Conference Room 101.

Functions of the BPAC:
Comprised of three at-large members and representatives from the Planning Commission, the Parks and Recreation Commission and the Traffic Safety and Parking Commission, the BPAC serves to provide comprehensive resident insight into bicycle and pedestrian issues. To summarize, the committee:

  • Identifies potential capital improvement projects that address bicycle and pedestrian access or safety issues;
  • Receives input from residents regarding bicycle and pedestrian activites; and
  • Conduct educational awareness campaigns to improve the safety of bicyclists and pedestrians.
