Follow the (Taxpayers) Money at San Bruno City Hall

Do you know what the city is buying with your tax dollars?

Update:  The money paid to Campbell did not come out of the general fund, according to City Manager Connie Jackson, "This photography service and all other costs associated with rebuild and recovery are being covered through the Trust Fund established by agreement between the City and PGE. The Trust Fund is funded entirely (at a maximum amount of $50 million) by PGE. No "taxpayer money" is being used for these purposes."

March 26, 2013:

On February 19, 013 the City of San Bruno wrote a check to Robert Campbell Photography for $1,850.00

“Robert Campbell was hired to take aerial photographs of the Crestmoor/Glenview neighborhood, site of the 2010 gas pipeline explosion,” said San Bruno City Manager Connie Jackson in an email to Patch.  “Bi-annual photographs of the neighborhood are being taken to document the rebuilding process.”  

Robert Campbell is an aerial photographer from Sonoma, Ca.
