Health Coverage Enrollment Fair Planned

The event is offered to San Mateo County residents who would like assistance with pre-enrollment to buy insurance through the Affordable Care Act.

Now that pre-enrollments are under way in California for residents who want to buy health insurance through the Affordable Care Act, there are myriad questions coming up about how to sign up.

To clear confusion about the program and help local residents to enroll in it, San Mateo County is offering a Health Coverage Enrollment Fair at three locations on Saturday, Oct. 12.

The events will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at these locations:

  • San Mateo Medical Center
    CHA Office First Floor West Entrance
    222 W. 39th Ave., San Mateo
  • Seton Medical Office Center
    1850 Sullivan Ave.
    Daly City
  • Human Services Agency
    2500 Middlefield Road
    Redwood City

Participants should bring the following documents with them:

  • Proof of residency in San Mateo County
  • Proof of income or financial support
  • Legal identification
  • Proof of age (for children only)
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or resident status
