Hundreds of Kids Get New Coats for Winter

More than 200 coats were distributed during the Coats for Kids event.

For the 15th year, teamed up with the city today to provide warm coats to needy families for their children for the winter months.

The event was held at the National Guard Armory, which provided plenty of space for the volunteers to help more than 200 kids pick out their own new coat. In all, the charity drive collected about 400 coats.
