PG&E Complies with New Safety Recommendations

The recommendations were made in the wake of the San Bruno explosion.

PG&E announced Monday that it had fulfilled two safety recommendations made by the National Transportation and Safety Board (NTSB) in response to the 2010 natural gas pipeline explosion in San Bruno.

This beings to nine the number of recommendations that the utility has checked off the original list of 12 from the NTSB.

"We continue to make real, measurable progress as we strive to become the safest and most reliable gas operator in the nation," said Nick Stavropoulos, executive vice president of PG&E's gas operations.
