Recology GM to Lead Chamber Board in 2012

The San Bruno Chamber of Commerce installed its new board of directors Monday at Cleo's. Mayor Jim Ruane gave his annual state of the city address, saying the city was "stronger than ever."

General Manager Kirsten Pinochi has been named the president of the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce board of directors for 2012.

Pinochi and the other board members were installed Monday at the chamber's annual installation luncheon, which was held at .

Mayor Jim Ruane also gave his state of the city address, focusing on new development and the city's economy and the impact of the loss of San Bruno's redevelopment agency.

San Mateo County Supervisor Dave Pine also was at the event, and he presented former chamber CEO Laura Baughman and longtime businessman with awards.

The chamber board gave certificates of appreciation to Beth Buck and David Ratto for their years of service with the chamber.

The chamber CEO is Jessica Evans and Florie Vasquez is the chamber's executive professional.
