4. In case you missed this, on Saturday, March 3, about 24 students and parents assembled at John Muir Elementary School for their yearly school beautification event. Doughnuts from Rolling Pin fueled the workers, including Principal Fran Dunleavy. Weeds were pulled, flowers and shrubs were pruned, flowers and wildflower seeds were planted. At least one student (a Cub Scout) did not even attend John Muir, but he volunteered his time as a part of his Cub Scout Den preforming a community service project. Thanks to Recology San Bruno for delivering the dumpster to collect the cuttings.
