What to Expect From Tonight's City Council Meeting

The City Council will be today for its regular meeting. Here is what's on the agenda.

Highlights include:

• sending a letter to the Caltrain board of directors opposing the and
• approving four agreements for redevelopment projects for which the city has already been promised funds in anticipation of Gov. Jerry Brown's plan to eliminate redevelopment agencies across the state.

A closed session meeting will follow so that the city can continue labor negotiations with the police and unions.
