Taking a Ride on a Real Estate Rollercoaster

The real estate market has its ups and downs, and turns and twists. What are we to expect as we enter the holiday season?

To sum up San Bruno real estate for sale this month, the words that come to mind are Niles Avenue and Crestmoor Drive. That is because there are four homes currently for sale on Crestmoor and two on Niles.

There are not a lot of homes for sale in San Bruno right now. As it is today, there are 16. Most of them are over $600,000, a few in the $400,000 range and none in the $500,000 range at all! Oh! There is a bank-owned fixer upper on Montgomery for $195,000, in case you were interested.

There is nothing for sale in all of Shelter Creek's 1,100 units except a studio condo for $158,800. There are absolutely zero condos for sale at Peninsula Place right now! Strange that out of 900 units at Peninsula Place, there is nothing for sale...zip!

Are people still waiting for a better opportunity to sell, make money and move? Or are they just happy where they are? (I can understand that because I am!) The real estate market is like a rollercoaster ride. Today it's a sellers market. Was not so this time last year when there was more to choose from and fewer people buying.

Today is the opposite. There is little to choose from and more people trying to buy than ever! We'll see what the holiday season brings us as we roll on along!
