The first phase of is complete. After the end of the last school year, crews added a two-story pre-fabricated building, 28 new classrooms and an open courtyard to the school. The two-story building also features new technology in each classroom and an elevator—a first for the school.
San Bruno Patch got an exclusive tour of the new facility with San Bruno Park School District Superintendent David Hutt.
The school district still has plans for a second phase of construction for the school, which is expecting an influx of about 280 students next year as all sixth graders get moved to Parkside. However, the district still hasn't secured funding for that part of the construction.
