Capuchino High Serves Up Pancakes for Fire Anniversary

Capuchino High School held a free pancake breakfast Saturday to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Sept. 9 fire.

Shortly after last year's pipeline explosion in the Crestmoor neighborhood, brought the community together with a spaghetti dinner to help residents cope with the tragedy.

A year later, on Saturday, the high school brought people together again with a pancake breakfast not only to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the fire but also to recognize the resiliency the city has shown in moving forward since the disaster.

Visitors were treated to some pancakes, waffles, fruit, sausage and coffee—all for free.
