Capuchino High Students Debate Republican Primaries

Mitt Romney? Newt Gingrich? Ron Paul? Rick Santorum? Which presidential candidate stands the best chance of facing President Obama in the November election? Cap students weigh in.

With the Republican primaries underway, all eyes are focused on which presidential candidate will emerge as the strongest leader to take on President Barack Obama in November's election. Mitt Romney? Newt Gingrich? Ron Paul? Rick Santorum?

Everyone has an opinion about which candidate stands the best chance of winning. Students from Capuchino High recently got in the mix by offering their views on the Republican primary race. This week's edition of Capuchino Corner, produced by the students of the school's Art of Video and IB Film program, captures those viewpoints. Who said young people aren't interested in politics?

The Art of Video and IB Film program is a digital filmmaking program for teens at Capuchino High School. The course studies the art of filmmaking through experience with hands on-projects and the study of film. Dominic Bigue founded the program in 2000. He's also the instructional technology coordinator for the San Mateo Unified High School District.
