Crestmoor, Belle Air Schools Receive Wells Fargo Grants

The two San Bruno schools received $1,000 each from Wells Fargo this week.

This week, two San Bruno schools received $1,000 checks from Wells Fargo. The checks were just a small part of the $82,000 of grants given to 82 Peninsula schools at a breakfast in Foster City Tuesday.

Mangers of local Wells Fargo branches picked which schools in their towns would received the grants, each in $1,000 increments. Here, Crestmoor Elementary and Belle Air Elementary were chosen to receive the grants.

“In addition to the countless hours that our team members spend volunteering in local schools, we are proud to provide funding directly to schools throughout the Peninsula,” Wendy Haller, president of Wells Fargo’s Peninsula market said at the Tuesday event. “By hosting this breakfast event and providing funding to schools, we want to personally say ‘thank you’ to the educators in our communities and provide resources to help purchase school supplies or other pressing needs.”
