Thank you. I look forward to hearing from the other candidates. Martin, be sure to let us know when there are candidate forums coming up.
I wish ALL school board meetings were televised -- I think it would be helpful for parents (and other busy members of the community), who often can't take the time on a school night to go to a board meeting.

Thank you so much for doing this. I agree that the school board members should be more visible at the schools and see what is really going on and different times of the day at different schools. See what is going on at PTA/PTO meetings and like you said not just during the election years, at all times. Talk more to parents and the teachers. Thank you Mr Capote for taking the time to do this. Looking forward to see the others.

Sorry, one more thing. Let's all remember yes we do have 7 elementary schools but we also have a middle school Parkside to take care of as well. Pretty much everyone from our elementary schools will go to Parkside, so we need to take care of our middle school as well as the elementary especially now that it will be 6th, 7th, 8th. We need to keep everyone in San Bruno schools that belong in the San Bruno schools. Parkside is a good school and we need to talk that up more and the board needs to help with that.

Thank You Michele! I am committed to working closely with the PTA/O leaders of the district. The parent leaders of the district know very well the issues we face, and I look foward to working with ALL parent/teacher groups as a true partner. Did you know there is also a PTA/PTO council in San Bruno? They meet once a month at the district office, and I had the pleasure of attending most meetings last year. A great collaborative effort on the part of the PTA/O's.

They took down the sign that said they were opening on June 14 and I haven't seen a new one with theRead More new date go up. The website still says "Store Grand Opening is on target for June 14, 2013," so that clearly needs updating too.
