San Bruno Art Instructor's Work On Display in Union Square

The instructor created the painting for a fundraiser benefitting San Francisco General Hospital.

A instructor's artwork is on display in San Francisco's Union Square after one of her paintings was recently purchased as part of a fundraiser benefitting San Francisco General Hospital, according to the college.

Eileen David, an instructor in the college's art department, created two hearts for the Heroes and Hearts 2012 fundraiser, which honored community leaders and raised money for the hospital and its trauma center.

During the auction, Visa purchased one of David’s pieces, and it is now on display at the corner of Geary and Powell streets.

According to Skyline, David’s current urban landscape paintings served as inspiration for the artwork seen on the hearts she created.
