What to Expect From Tonight's School Board Meeting

The agenda for the Sept. 8 San Bruno Park School District meeting.

The San Bruno Park School District will be meeting at 7pm today. Here is the agenda (which looks pretty full) so that you know what to expect.

Some highlights from the agenda include:

  • a presentation recognizing Parkside Intermediate student council officers for 2010-11
  • a presentation introducing PTA officers
  • a presentation on summer school
  • a memorandum of understanding establishing the Danford Center for Innovation in Technology at El Crystal Elementary School
  • a presentation from Superintendent Dr. David Hutt about the calendar for distributing funds from the sale of surplus property
  • a public hearing to get input on the status of the district's textbooks and instructional resources
  • the district's response to the grand jury reports on school bond citizens oversight committees and the cost of special education in San Mateo County school districts
  • a resolution authorizing the school board to begin advertising for bids for the Parkside Intermediate construction project
  • a report on student enrollment
