The Contra Costa Times recently caught up with Capuchino High's Justin Ewing and made a bold prediction: If he keeps things up, he has a shot at the Central Coast Section season rushing record.
Ewing, a senior running back, has 1,317 yards rushing after five games, Glenn Reeves reported in his column, and the regular PAL Lake season hasn't even started.
To get the Central Coast Section season rushing record, Ewing will have to do better than 2,798 yards, set by Burlingame's Onan Reyes in 1997, Reeves reported.
Can he do it?
