Four San Bruno Soccer Teams Advance to Sectional Tournament
The San Bruno Orange Crush, Strikers, Las Gigantes and The Fury will advance to sectional tournament this weekend in Foster City.
Four San Bruno AYSO teams finished in first or second place in last weekend's area playoffs to advance to a sectional tournament this weekend in Foster City.
The under 12 and under 14 girls and boys teams competed in the Area 2B tournament, which included teams from Brisbane, Pacifica, Daly City, San Bruno and Millbrae, according to Trish Estelita, co-commissioner of AYSO's Region 249.
The Orange Crush, Strikers and Las Gigantes took first place, while The Fury came in second place, in their respective divisions.

The four teams - along with the Under 10 Boys Alvarado team - will advance to the Section 2 Post Fall Season Tournament, which takes place Dec. 10 and 11 at Sea Cloud and Port Royal parks in Foster City.
The winner of the sectional tournament will go to the California State Cup in Southern California in March.
