#hashtags: Navigating the Social Network

I blog prolifically on Patch, my own sites and random other sites.  I vblog (video blog) just as prolifically on my Squigglemom YouTube channel - and others.

I must admit that my web presence is limited to blogs and YouTube videos.

But I've got a project, and I need more than just my friends to know... I need Random Strangers to find me... You see...

Caprice Rothe (of E.T. Hands fame) and Patricia Tsoi-A-Sue of Squigglemom and Handmade Penguin sorta fame want to take a road trip.  We want to take the opportunity to visit Maker Spaces and Makers from San Francisco to Long Beach, CA!

We're calling it "The Wacky Adventure of Cap N Trish". 

But before we go, we need to get our Friends, Good Friends and even Random Strangers to help us.  So I'm thinking about how one might go about doing this thing that I've heard about... tweeting... and #hashtags.  Which should I use?  #adventurevacation?  #fusionenergi?  #roadtrip?
