FEMA Region IX Stakeholders,

We hope you'll join us at this year's Third Annual FEMA Region IX Leadership Private Sector Conference on February 19th in Phoenix, Arizona!

The state of Arizona and FEMA Region IX will host a full-day workshop featuring top-tier business continuity professionals from Arizona, California, Nevada and the Pacific Islands to focus on increasing resiliency to accomplish Public/Private success.  We had leaders, including you, in mind when we organized this intense one-day agenda focused on emerging trends and the resiliency information your organization will need to thrive in 2014. The overall theme of this year’s conference is "Perception vs. Reality" affording participants multiple opportunities to share individual challenges and successes with fellow attendees.

This fast-paced event will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Allen Readiness Center, 5636 E. McDowell Rd, Phoenix, Arizona, 85008.  The goals of our conference are two-fold:

1)  Improve  public and private sector capability to integrate, collaborate and work with one another

2)  Provide a networking framework to develop relationships prior to a crisis throughout Region IX

"PERCEPTION VS. REALITY" will include speakers/panelists discussing topics that include:

Proven Partnerships at the State Level
Building Sustainable Relationships at the County Level
Private Sector Perspective - Corporate Social Responsibility  and Emerging Trends
Emerging Threats in Cyber Security
Social Media Best Practices During and After Disaster
