Celebrate Earth Day - with a Compost Give Away

San Bruno residents have been depositing their food scraps and food contaminated containers in their green collection container.

As a small thank you and GIVE BACK, Recology and the City of San Bruno will be offering San Bruno residents (with proper i.d.) five gallons of nutrient  rich compost.

YOU must bring your own BUCKET (B.Y.O.B.)

San Bruno residents are welcome to take home a free bucket of compost to help enrich their gardens while learning about the benefits of home composting and the new Organics Program.

We certainly don't want outsiders getting our rotten garbage, especially after the nice rate increase !!!! You have to show Photo id to pick up rotting garbage, but not while voting - liberals gone wild !! This just boggles my mind.

you are very stupid to think that compost is garbage. It is like saying the dirt under you feet is garbage. Get a life and smell the roses instead of complaining about everything.
