I am Robert Donlucas a member of the San Bruno Citizens Crime Prevention Committee and I am representing our committee tonight in accepting your proclamation recognizing Tuesday August 5th as National Night Out here in San Bruno and requesting that San Bruno residents turn on their porch lights and go outside and meet their neighbors and talk about how together they can be Effective Eyes & Ears on their block and assist the San Bruno Police Department in reducing crime in San Bruno.

Our committee’s number one task is to work at assisting the starting of additional Neighborhood Watch blocks, bringing together blocks of neighbors who commit to call the San Bruno Police Department themselves whenever they observe something they do not think is right.

Thank you and the Council and the City for your continual support of our committee and our efforts to Grow Neighborhood Watch.  Our committee meets the 2nd Thursdays of each month in City Hall Room 113.  The public is welcome and we always discuss Neighborhood Watch.
