San Bruno Station OPENS April 1st

Caltrain reports:

San Bruno Station Moves to New Location

On April 1, 2014, Caltrain service will shift to the newly completed grade-separated station located at 833 San Mateo Ave. (cross-street San Bruno Avenue). See map atwww.caltrain.com/stations/sanbrunostation.

The Caltrain schedule won't be affected by the move.

A total of 201 parking spaces and a “kiss and ride” lot will serve the station at the site of the former San Bruno Lumber on San Mateo Avenue.

A few finishing touches will be completed after the move, including the elevator located on the east side of the station. We’ll have an official opening later in the spring.

Construction of the San Bruno Grade Separation Project began in 2010. The project elevated the Caltrain tracks above three existing at-grade street crossings at San Bruno, San Mateo and
Angus avenues.
