Dear Mayor Ruane and Councilmembers, Connie and Klara,

We are pleased to inform you that we have scheduled a ribbon-cutting for the San Bruno Grade Separation Project for May 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. We intend this event to be a community-wide celebration and an opportunity to recognize the work by the city to construct the project and to thank the residents and businesses who had to endure the construction and traffic disruptions.

Caltrain is celebrating the completion of San Bruno Grade Separation Project with a community event at Posy Park on Saturday, May 10. To recognize the partnership that made this project possible, Caltrain would like to cordially invite you to participate in the May 10 community celebration event, which is scheduled for 11 a.m. – 1  p.m.

Caltrain will kick off the events with speeches from local dignitaries and a formal ribbon-cutting celebration followed by light refreshments, live music, children’s entertainment and a community festival. We know that the San Bruno Grade Separation Project would not be possible without the support, cooperation of the San Bruno City Council and Staff, local community businesses, the Transportation Authority, Caltrain and the many contractors and consultants who helped bring this project to life. The community event on May 10 is a way of showing our appreciation for all of this combined effort.
