Public Hearing Notice:
Proposed Final FY 2015-2020 Fare Program

Notice is hereby given that the Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA) Board of Directors will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the WETA Administrative Offices, Pier 9, Suite #111, The Embarcadero, San Francisco, California to receive public comment on a proposed final FY 2015-2020 Fare Program.  The proposed Fare Program will establish consistent fare category definitions, streamline fare products offered, and promote a consistent level of discount pricing. These initial changes would be implemented beginning in November 2014 for all San Francisco Bay Ferry services.  A second component of the Program is to introduce annual fare increases that are designed to offset inflationary cost increases and rising operational and fuel costs.  Fare increases would be implemented annually beginning in July 2015 for the duration of the proposed Fare Program.
