Hike to an Ohlone Shellmound; Boy Scouts Collecting Food This Weekend
It's a busy weekend—also on tap is a native plant sale and events at San Bruno schools.
"Scouting for Food" Saturday
Last Saturday, local Boy Scouts delivered almost 100,000 door-hangers announcing this coming weekend's "Scouting for Food" drive. Please have your donation on your doorstep by 9:00 a.m. If you didn’t receive a door hanger, there are drop-off locations.

Rollingwood School Carnival
Rollingwood School will be holding their annual carnival from noon-4 p.m. There is something for everyone...games and activities, a cake walk, food, face painting, martial arts and dance demo, and more!

Docent led hike through two beautiful canyons of San Bruno Mountain with visit to an Ohlone Shellmound.
Native Plant Sale
The Mission Blue Nursery grows only San Bruno Mountain native plants. A hands-on arm of the San Bruno Mountain Watch Stewardship Volunteer Programs, volunteers donate their time to grow California natives for restoration projects on the mountain and for public and private gardens, parks, and planting areas around the mountain.
