The Finance Department is responsible for the overall financial administration of the city. The department directs the independent audits, manages payroll processing, equipment purchasing for all city departments and accounts payable, collects revenues and disburses all monies authorized by the City Council. The department is also responsible for preparing and monitoring the city's budget.
