El Crystal Elementary School

<p>Designated a California Distinguished School, El Crystal Elementary is a K-5 school in the San Bruno Park School District. The school is also a Demonstration School for the Integration of Curriculum and Technology. El Crystal is also one of five schools in the district with an Academic Performance Index of 800 or higher. </p> <p>The school has been the recipient of more than $230,000 in donations from the Danford Foundation to support and enhance its curriculum through the use of laptop computers, wireless Internet access, iPod Touches and sophisticated, relevant software programs, such as Inspiration, Reading Counts, MathLive and Ticket to Read.</p> <p>The principal is Skip Johnson.</p>
